Master Typing the Fun Way....with an
All-Star Basketball theme! All Star Basketball provides seven
drills, options, and season stats features. You can click on Stats to view your
progress, including your words-per-minute (WPM) tally. The graph will show your
accuracy for each letter based on all the drills you have played. Season stats
are also provided, displayed after each drill.
Every drill at training
camp level teaches four keys. The regular season covers all of the keys, college
is challenging, pro is more difficult, and all-star is the most advanced. You
can move among different levels and drills as you please. Before each drill in
training camp, the coach will ask you to practice the keys under review. At the
beginning of each drill, the program sets a target zone. This target score
increases as you improve.

Features:
Passing the passing drill is the first drill - it teaches the finger
positions for each key. Pass the ball by typing the letter that appears next to
a player. You receive one point per pass - if you pass the wrong player, or
press the incorrect key, you lose a point. Passing is the best place to teach
your fingers the touch-typing moves.
Free Throw Make your free
throw by typing the letters that appear in the small window at the bottom of the
screen. You receive one point per free throw. If you type the letters too
slowly, you will miss the shot. Be sure to delete your mistakes and to type the
spaces that may appear between the letters.
Heads Up You have
to type the letters on the balls before they hit and blow holes in the court.
You receive one point per ball. If a blimp floats by, blast it for bonus
points!
Slam Dunk Type the letters on the screen to make your
slam dunk. the dunk you make is based on your speed; faster typing means better
dunking. The "slam dunk timer" counts down your time. After you shoot, an
audience member flashes a sign with the score for your dunk on a scale from
0-10, with 10 being the best.
Horse Here you make the trick
shots (follow Coach's directions) by typing the words that appear next to each
target. You receive one point per bounce. If you type too slowly, the shot
swerves off course.
Game Time You control the player in the red
circle. Move your player by typing a directional key (shown at the bottom of the
screen). Pass to your teammates by typing the letter that appears next to them.
When you play offense and you're near the basket, a word appears above the
basket. type the word in time to shoot before the clock runs out. On deKids experience America's cultural and
